It has the same earthy, eco-friendly story — but it’s finer, softer, and more refined to the touch. Linen comes from the flax plant — a natural fiber that’s been used for centuries precisely because it’s breathable, durable, and gets softer with age. Compared to jute, linen has a finer weave and a smoother, more elegant hand-feel. We supply pure linen and a cotton-linen blend. The tight fine weave produces far less lint than jute, which makes it safe for unlined jewelry packaging in most cases. It looks natural and understated, not rough and rustic.

Heavy foil stamping does not perform well on linen’s matte surface, so we usually steer customers away from it.
